This policy explains what information KNWN4 LLC ("KNWN4", "we", "us") collects when you use knwn4.com, why we collect it, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. We have written it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.

Who we are

KNWN4 LLC is a marketing agency. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us any time at business@knwn4.com.

Information you give us

When you book a call or send an enquiry through our website, we ask for:

Your name and email address, which are required to confirm a booking.
Your business name and phone number, if you choose to provide them.
What you need help with and your rough budget range, so the call is useful.
Anything you write in the message field. Please do not include sensitive personal information there.

We do not ask for, and you should never send us, payment card numbers, government identification numbers, or health information through this website.

Information collected automatically

Analytics data. Pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you move through the site, collected through Google Analytics.
Advertising data. If you arrive from an advertisement, the Meta pixel records that you visited and whether you booked a call, so we can measure which ads work.
Referral details. We store in your browser which link, campaign or search brought you to us, and which page you first landed on. This lets us credit the right channel when you become a client.
Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request information, including IP address, for security and reliability.

How we use it

To schedule, confirm and prepare for calls you book with us.
To reply to your enquiry and follow up about working together.
To keep a record of prospective and current clients in our own client management system.
To understand which marketing channels bring us enquiries, so we spend our budget sensibly.
To keep the website secure and working correctly.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Cookies and similar technology

We use cookies and browser storage for analytics, advertising measurement, and to remember which campaign referred you. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Most advertising platforms, including Meta, also let you limit ad personalisation in your own account settings. Blocking these will not stop you from using the site or booking a call.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that run our business, and only so they can provide their service to us:

Google for website analytics, and for the calendar that holds your booking and sends your invite.
Meta for advertising measurement.
Vercel for website hosting.
Supabase for the database behind our client management system.
Telegram, which delivers an internal notification to our team when a call is booked.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety or property.

How long we keep it

Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Enquiry and client records are kept for as long as we have a business relationship with you, and afterwards only as long as we need them for legal, accounting or record keeping purposes. You can ask us to delete your record sooner at any time.

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
Correct anything that is wrong.
Delete your information.
Stop contacting you.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including under the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation or the California Consumer Privacy Act, such as the right to a copy of your data, to object to certain processing, or to complain to your local data protection regulator. We will never treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

To make any of these requests, email business@knwn4.com with the email address you used on our site. We will respond within 30 days.

Security

Information is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with reputable providers who maintain their own security controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to client information to the people who need it to do the work.

International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and elsewhere. Where information is transferred from the UK or European Economic Area, our providers rely on approved transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Children

Our services are for businesses. This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be made clear.
